Carol Gooberman, born Carol Lotstein, I grew up in Pennsauken, N.J., graduated from Pennsauken High
School in 1973. I graduated from Moore College of Art and Design in 1977 with a BFA degree. Also, in
1977 I married Alan Gartzman, had two children, Sheera and Steven. I became a widow in 1985. In 1989
I married Bruce Gooberman, had two more children, Evan and Marcy. We all live in Haddonfield, N.J.
Since graduating from college, I have worked in advertising agencies and I have continued my education in
various classes in oil and watercolor and pastel painting. I work in pastels in my studio two to three days per
week. I work from photographs that I have taken. I love to paint children on the beach, children and women
dressed up in vintage clothing, my two cats, porches, etc. I paint my subjects in sunlight creating strong
contrast with light and shadows. I owned and taught at the Art Depot Inc., art classes for adults and children,
in Merchantville, N.J. from 1987-1998. In the spring of 2001 I began participating in Fine Art and Craft
shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I design and paint "Memory Paintings" which are reproduced and
used in Alzheimer's Centers.

Why Exchanging links
I have found that there is no point in having a lovely exhibition if nobody can find it. If a website is a rewarding experience and provides links to useful and interesting content, visitors will keep coming back for more. Don’t worry about links pointing away from your site. If you never get many visitors there in the first place, it isn’t going to be an issue anyway.

Gaining top search engine listings can be difficult, but by seeking topic-related links pointing to your site, you can dramatically increase the number of visitors you receive.

You’ll probably find that by acquiring these links, the number of visitors that access your site via search engine listings will also improve. Why is this? Search engines position your site in their search results according to various complicated factors. One influencing factor is “link popularity”; basically, they are assessing the importance of your site by how many other sites link to it.
