Also, in 1977 I married Alan Gartzman, had two children, Sheera and Steven. I became a widow in 1985. In 1989 I married Bruce Gooberman, had two more children, Evan and Marcy. We all live in Haddonfield, N.J. Since graduating from college, I have worked in advertising agencies and I have continued my education in various classes in oil and watercolor and pastel painting. I work in pastels in my studio two to three days per week. I work from photographs that I have taken. I love to paint children on the beach, children and women dressed up in vintage clothing, my two cats, porches, etc. I paint my subjects in sunlight creating strong contrast with light and shadows. I owned and taught at the Art Depot Inc., art classes for adults and children, in Merchantville, N.J. from 1987-1998. In the spring of 2001 I began participating in Fine Art and Craft shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I design and paint "Memory Paintings" which are reproduced and used in Alzheimer's Centers.
